Pat Burton Flag Permalink This was helpful (0) Collapse - My solution i do a lot of printing to dvd off an epson r200 printer and i too got tired of the cost of cartridges so i found a better solution,i bought a pre chipped continous ink system which was a match for my printer and its cartridge chip i buy bulk ink from mrinkjet.com and have never had a clogging or drying up problem and ink in bulk is cheap now the only problem i had was what to do if the printer died i solved this dilemma by going to ebay and finding and buying 4 of the same model printer that people were willing to sell dirt cheap due to the high cost of ink you do have to mod the printer though, (unscrew the watepad inspection cover and pull out the tube that collects the waste ink so the printer will never shutdown due to a full wastepad) i run the waste ink jnto a plastic cup behind the printer this printer is still going strong after almost 7 years and still prints every other day so if it does die i still have the other printers i bought from ebay(one was only 5.
